Emily Orzech works with a combination of ink painting and printmaking techniques to explore the ways in which people inhabit constantly changing urban spaces.
She studied etching at Smith College and went on to receive her MFA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She just returned from a Fulbright in China where she worked in lithography at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
