Emily Orzech is a printmaker whose recent work focuses on caregiving and memory. Her work has also explored the social and political dimensions of urban space. She received her BA from Smith Collage and her MFA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She went on to have a Fulbright Grant in lithography at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing. She has since attended residencies including the Vermont Studio Center, SPAR in Russia, Kala Institute in Berkeley, and Spark Box Studios in Ontario, Canada. Her current art practice is based in Pennsylvania where she works primarily in screenprint and lithography. She is an Associate Professor at Muhlenberg College where she teaches printmaking and digital media.
